Our Insurance program* allows you to enjoy the spending power of your HSBC credit card with the reassurance of knowing your repayments will be covered if you suffer an accident or illness. You can join the program when you first apply for your HSBC credit card or at any time after we have approved your Credit card issuance and maintenance or limit increase application form (PDF, 455 KB) by forwarding the request to any HSBC branch in Russia, any time during your HSBC credit card term.

Insurance program advantages

• maximum insurance cover may account up to the amount of 600 000 Roubles
• enrolment in the Program is voluntary and has no influence on the Bank's decision on credit card issue
• insurance coverage is in force 24 hours a day worldwide
• insurance reimbursement is not reduced where you may have purchased other life insurance programs with other companies

How Program enrolment costs paid?

The cost of enrolment to the Program is debited from your credit card account each month on the statement date. If the outstanding balance in any month is zero, then there is no debit to your account however the insurance cover remains in force.

Insurance program key information

Insurance cover is available to all credit card holders between 18 and 60 in accordance with terms and conditionswho satisfy the health conditions stated in the Health Declaration. The Insurance policy will cover the following circumstances:

• permanent and total disability
• death

Your maximum insurance cover will be RUB 600 000 across all claims.

How much does the Insurance program cost?

The Insurance program for credit card holders costs only 0.395% per month of the average outstanding balance shown on your credit card. You only have to pay a the premium when you have an outstanding balance on your HSBC credit card.

The Insurance program for credit cards is provided by ZAO "ALICO Insurance Company". License C # 3256 77 issued by Federal Supervision Service for Insurance.
