Our Insurance program* allows you to enjoy the spending power of your HSBC Premier credit card with the reassurance of knowing your repayments will be covered if you suffer an accident or illness.
You can join the program when you first apply for your HSBC Premier credit card or at any time after we have approved your Credit card issuance and maintenance application form (PDF, 455 KB) by forwarding the request to any HSBC branch in Russia, any time during your HSBC Premier credit card term.

Advantages of the HSBC Premier Insurance program

- enrolment in the Program is voluntary and has no influence on the Bank's decision on credit card issue
- insurance cover is in force 24 hours a day worldwide
- insurance reimbursement is not reduced where you may have purchased other life insurance programs with other companies
How are Program enrolment costs?
The cost of enrolment to the Program is debited from your credit card account each month on the statement date. If the outstanding balance in any month is zero, then there is no debit to your account however the insurance cover remains in force.
Insurance Program key information
Insurance cover is available to all HSBC Premier credit card holders between 18 and 60 who satisfy the health conditions stated in the Health Declaration. The insurance policy will cover the following circumstances:
- permanent and total disability
- death
Your maximum insurance cover will be RUB 600 000 across all claims.
How much does the HSBC Premier Insurance program cost?
The HSBC Premier Insurance program for credit card holders costs only 0.295% of the average outstanding balance on your credit card. If the average outstanding balance on your HSBC Premier credit card is zero then no payment will be debited however the insurance cover shall remain in force.
The insurer is ZAO "ALICO Insurance Company". License C # 3256 77 issued by Federal Supervision Service for Insurance.
